Portfolio increase

Hi dear FI friends,

Today, I am please to say that we purchased an additional 200 shares of Roche (ROG.VX), bringing our total position to 600 shares.

As mentioned earlier, I used the ex-dividend date to benefits from the share drop, we bought at a value of 355.2CHF vs. 360.2CHF (previous day closure).

This allow us to bring down our average buying price from 277.3CHF to 272.4CHF, a decrease of 1.8%

Considering the actual dividend distribution (8CHF), our 2016 dividend distribution from ROG.VX will be 3120CHF or a 50% increase vs. 2015!

I will update our portfolio with this position increase very soon.

Cheers, RA50

  1. Just found your website from a comment you left on dividend mantra, really happy to find another dividend increasing blog on the European side of the Atlantic!

With regards to the above, 50% increases are a wonderful thing to behold! I also like to time purchases according to the ex-div, getting in early if special dividends are expected, then buying in the few weeks afterwards as the price loses several percent usually.

Really looking forward to reading through the rest of your blog!

    Cheers 🙂

  2. I think my entire comment was lost, boooo! Just saying hi and I’m so pleased to find another dividend growth investor blog on the European side of the Atlantic.

I also like to time the ex-div game, buying in early if special dividends are expected, then averaging down in the weeks after as the price usually loses several %

    Cheers!!!
