Swiss RE (SREN:VX) pay check

Dear all,

Today we received our dividend check from Swiss RE (SREN:VX), based on the 1075 shares we own (before purchases on the ex-date – Portfolio increase), we receive a nice check of 7794.0 CHF, this dividend is free of Tax as it is a cash distribution.

At the moment, we are going to keep this cash position until we have a investment opportunities.

How is your April dividend payement?

Cheers,

RA50

  1. RA50,
what a dividend! I really hope one day, I’ll look on my monthly/quarter dividend income and see similar sums. But this will be very far in the future ๐Ÿ™‚

One question – if you’re planning to leave Switzerland, why do you limit yourself to swiss only holdings?

Oh and to your question: I’ve received $205 in april – sounds not much, but I just started saving and investing 10 months ago. How long were you saving and investing to get your large portfolio?

I wish you best of luck!

    • DR,
Don’t worry, you will reach that level of dividends earlier that you can expect, with the snowball effect.

We started investing seriously since 2006, previously I made some trading but never been able to achieve good results, see the evolution since 2006, you can find more details in our investment strategy posts.

We are limiting ourself to Swiss market to avoid all the risks related to exchange rate, taxes, etc… And so far the SMI, has been very generous ๐Ÿ™‚

Me too, wishing you all the luck, and looking forward to read your blog.

      Thanks for dropping a comment.

      Cheers, RA50
